Why Tank Removal is Essential
Aging or leaking fuel tanks can pose serious environmental and financial risks. By hiring us to remove or replace a faulty tank ensures that you are in compliance with state and federal regulations, mitigating contamination risks, and maintaining the integrity of your property. Our process follows the Washington State Pollution Liability Insurance Agency (PLIA) guidelines to ensure safe and efficient removal.

Course of Action

Our Comprehensive Tank Removal Process
Pollution Liability Insurance Agency’s (PLIA’s)
Our tank removal process is designed to minimize environmental impact while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. The process begins with an initial assessment, where we conduct thorough site evaluations and collect soil and groundwater samples to detect potential contamination.
If contamination is found, we initiate a claim with PLIA to secure funding for necessary remediation. Once the assessment is complete, our team carefully excavates and removes the old or leaking tank, adhering to the highest safety standards. Any contaminated soil is also removed and properly disposed of, reducing the risk of future environmental hazards.
Safe and Efficient Oil Tank Removal Services
Following tank removal, our experts conduct site characterization and develop a tailored cleanup plan. This includes additional groundwater and vapor sampling to confirm the extent of contamination and determine the best course of action. Once the cleanup plan is in place, we install a new, compliant storage tank made from durable materials to ensure longevity. The excavation site is then refilled and restored to its original condition.
Our final step involves preparing and submitting detailed closure documentation to regulatory agencies. We work closely with PLIA to obtain a No Further Action (NFA) determination, confirming that your site meets all environmental standards and no further remediation is required.
